First Snow
We finally got our first snow here in north Texas. Not much to speak of, but at least my classes were cancelled this afternoon. People in the North would probably call this "freezing rain" or "sleet," but it's the only snow we get in the South.

The weathermen promised snow, and I felt a bit cheated this morning. But eventually it came. Its snowed all day on and off. When dad and I drove into town the roads were so icy that we slid. It was rather frightening, but we were going slowly so no damage was done. God was watching us.

I forgot to add that I love your new template!
We had a little bit in Worcester, England, but its gone now. November is very early for snow in the UK, but we are supposed to be getting a cold winter.

It's really scary driving in this kind of weather. (Especially when you don't have lots of experience with ice.) Personally, I'd rather be driving in heavy rain. I'm sure the main highways and roads are salted, but I doubt the country roads are, and I have to travel several of those before reaching the main highway.
