My Speech is Rubbish

Tomorrow I have to give my demonstration speech for Public Speaking class. Many of my classmates chose simple topics, such as cookies or crafts, but yours truly had to do something entirely different... and rather strange. Garbage bags. Yes, that's right... garbage bags.

I'll post my speech tomorrow evening and leave you in suspense as to what I will say about the marvelous garbage bag.

Thanks, Sarah!

All of classmates are scared to death of giving their speeches. Some did a really good job, but all of them scared themselves and displayed some sort of nervous behavior while giving their speeches... 'umms,' 'ahs,' 'oks,' long pauses to look at notes, shaking of the hands and voice, etc. There can't be more than 20 of us in the class. It's not THAT bad. And it's only a demonstration speech.

I guess I don't mind because I've had experience with public speaking before (my largest crowd was 300) and I do it all the time at work (Bible story for a bunch of kids). Of course, I'm probably being a little over-confident, but I'm really not nervous.

Hope it went well.

Public speaking is a great chance to earn the respect of your peers.

I got a chance to do that in MSS.
We had to present a strategy or theory on the use of space power.
I just got up there and started talking.
Now they all respect me.

Use that reasource well.
Public speaking can be a powerful tool.
Churchill used it it rally the people of England during WWII when the were getting beaten.
But Hitler also used it to conquor all of continental Europe.

It's most powerful potential was shown to us by the Master.
He used it before feeding the 5,000.
