Answered Prayer?
For the past year, my family and I have been praying for another car for me to take to school. My dad's friend's son (did you get that) is selling his eleven-year old car. It seems to be in very good condition, get good gas mileage, and have a working AC unit - everything I wanted in a car (minus sun roof and CD player). The only problem is that it's a stick shift... and I have no clue how to drive a stick shift. I can learn (even though I swore I never wanted to drive a stick-shift). The offer is too tempting for me, however, because it is much cheaper than I expected to pay for a car and that means left-over money. And guess what left-over money means? Airline tickets!

Where are you planning on going?
Having your own car is just so liberating.
Being Dyspraxic, learning to drive was really difficult. I failed my test five times before I passed. The Lord was so good to me in enabling me to pass.

Good luck on learning to drive with a stick. Mom tried to show me how last week and...it didn't go so well for me. After finding out that the car had an alarm we didn't know it had, I nearly gave mom a heart attack as I braked, completely stopping the car, as I was in second gear.
Airline tickets? Youppee. So when are you coming up North, Carey? Although I don't have a spare bedroom, I am sure Sarah would not mind you crashing in with her. We'll just have to agree on who uses the bathroom first.
Matthew, I'll stay with anyone who takes me in (within reason). Would love to go to London again and take Jer. He's never been out of the US before and likes the idea of a Carey Crash Course Tour.
Leila, I'd love to head up North! And I'm really low maintanence, so I wouldn't be any trouble. :-)
Hannah, that is very encouraging. Maybe the Lord will be merciful and make the learning process fairly easy for me. I'm a fast learner (when I want to be).
Sarah, bummer. What kind of insurance does Will do? (Is it all right if I call him that? Will is easier to say than William. I have a habit of abbreviating everyone's names.)
All we have to do then is coordinate the dates.
Well, if you fancy a trip to England, we have a spare room at our house in Worcester.
I can drive you to Stratford-Upon-Avon, if you like. I have never driven there before myself, but it is a nice town.

Matthew, I always fancy a trip to England. Sounds great. Just for fun I looked at ba.com to see what the fare would be, but I'm having trouble finding connecting flights. Looks like I'll have to walk to your house from London. *laughs* It may be cheaper (and more fun) to take a train from London.
Or maybe I could fly straight to England from Montreal. That would be fun.
Nothing is set in concrete until May, so this is all "up in the air" for the moment. Still fun to think about, though.
Carey, I would not mind at all if you crashed in my room. You are most welcome. I have a cool double bed, with another bed underneath. (I used to have quite a few of sleepovers, good times!)
You can come this summer, it would be fun!!! Yes, you're coming. You can't get my hopes high like this and not come. :( It would make me very sad.
Hey, we should have a first annual boggers' meeting in Montreal, or maybe Texas, or maybe England. I always wanted to go to England and Texas. Carey, which city in Texas. Is is dallas?
Where am I in Texas, you mean? I am about an hour from Dallas, but will not specify the exact city due to stalkers or something following me. E-mail me and I'll tell you where I live.
It would be fun to have an annual bloggers meeting! What would we do? Bloggy things? *laughs* I just invented a new word.
Bloggy Things?
ok...
Airline tickets?
Where are you planning on going?
Haven't you been reading the posts, Jason? I'm going everywhere! Just kidding. Some of the lovely people here are inviting me to stay with them.
I can see that.
but what were your palns before that?
Did you have somewhere you wanted to go?
Or did you just want to go?
You know me - I just want go to anywhere and everywhere. I want an adventure!
Oops... what I meant was "I want to go anywhere and everywhere."
I must have some gypsy blood in me. Never want to stay in one place for long. I hope I have a job that makes me pack my bags and trek to the other side of the world at a moment's notice.
